DESCRIPTION:UPDATE 3/23/2024 – Unfortunately\, we have to cancel our upcoming Microcar exhibition. We wanted to organize this program for a while\, but unfortunately\, it didn’t come together well enough to meet the high standards we aim for our guests. We do want to thank everyone that submitted their cars\, and we do hope to come back to this theme later on down the line.  \nMark your calendar and save the dates! Our next scheduled exhibition is “Drink the Kool-Aid: Cult Cars Through the Ages”\, scheduled for August 10 – 25\, 2024. \n\nGreetings\, microcar aficionados and tiny transport enthusiasts! The Simeone Museum is thrilled to announce our upcoming celebration of all things small but mighty – the “Micro Machines Microcar Exhibition.” This special event\, taking place from April 6th through April 21st\, is dedicated to the delightful world of microcars\, and we’re inviting YOU to be a part of it! \nAre you the proud owner of a pint-sized powerhouse on wheels? Does your microcar turn heads and spark conversations wherever it goes? If you’re nodding along\, then it’s time to share your mini marvel with fellow enthusiasts and the public at our exhibition! \nHow to Participate:We’re on the lookout for the most fascinating\, quirky\, and charming microcars out there. If you have a microcar that you believe deserves a spot in the spotlight\, we’d love to hear from you. Here’s how you can get involved: \nSubmission Process: Head over to the form below and fill in the details about your microcar. Remember\, we’re looking for the unique\, the rare\, and the outright adorable\, so tell us what makes your microcar special. Please submit one form per car if you’re lucky enough to own multiple micro marvels.\nMore the Merrier: Own more than one microcar? Fantastic! Feel free to submit each of your tiny treasures separately. SUMMARY:Drive & Dine - Dark Horse Irish Pub
DESCRIPTION:Our first drive and dine event of the season kick-offs on Saturday April 13. Our destination will be the Dark Horse Irish Pub. We will be taking a scenic drive through Northern Virginia back roads past fields and farms\, water and woods to Flint Hill\, VA. The Dark Horse Irish Pub is a casual dining restaurant in a renovated 1800s home with cozy dining rooms and a “Cheers Like” pub where locals gather\, and passers-by come to dine on an eclectic mix of menu items. After lunch\, we take a short drive to Blue Valley Winery for their delicious wines and spectacular views.
