While Mecum has over 4\,500 cars crossing the block\, there is also a huge array of automobilia and petroliana on offer.  There are also some absolutely gobsmacking paper promotional items such as cardboard advertisements for soda companies\, including one for Nesbitt’s Orange Sweepstakes in which they were giving away an orange Ford Maverick.  While not as exciting as neon or porcelain\, paper products seem to be proving to be the next big thing in collectibles as their prices steadily climb\, and why not?  Talk about surviving – made of paper\, a throwaway product meant to promote something on a counter\, how many are actually left?  And so often\, they promoted the most unique things – like orange Ford Mavericks.  See Mecum’s Road Art here! \n \nAnd there’s always Mecum On Time.  Mecum will be taking some of items from On Time to Kissimmee\, but bidding is still available online.  Well worth looking into\, there are often some great bargains and some remarkably hard to find items on offer.  See them here On Time
