DESCRIPTION:While Mecum’s upcoming November 9-11 auction is set to be held in Las Vegas\, the company’s Road Art® division is set to bring a taste of Montana to the auction block with the Montana Collection\, an offering of nearly 100 lots with a heavy focus on gasoline- and oil-related memorabilia. An array of gas pumps are among the highlights from the selection\, including a 1928 Marine Fry Model 87 Visible Gas Pump and a 1935 Montana Chief Wayne Model 60 pump\, both in blue and white color schemes\, as well as a 1931 Orange Crown Aviation Milwaukee Model 781 Clock Face pump and a 1924 Grizzly Gasoline Gilbert and Barker Model 67 Visible Gas Pump. The collection will also offer a wide gamut of signs\, including porcelain\, double-sided 1949 Gulf Dealer and Texaco signs.
