With a history stretching back to 1972, the idea behind the Pate Swap Meet came from members of the Gulf Coast Region AACA in Houston, Texas who, along with many large Texas car clubs, decided that going to Hershey, Pennsylvania for a good swap meet was just too much. So, they elected to host a similar swap meet in Texas. An absolutely massive swap meet, it is the largest event of its kind in the Southwest and the second largest in the United States. Held in Fort Worth at the Texas Motor Speedway since 1998, visitors will enjoy over 1,200 vendors and 9,700 spaces.
