To boot, three very interesting collections at Mecum On Time caught our attention. One, the Summer Exhibition: Premier Automotive Poster Auction, Volume 1, which is a stunning collection of primarily Porsche dealership and racing posters. Interestingly, the collection contains a number of 944, 928, and 914 prints that are very seldom seen. Another is the Summer Showcase 2025: Premier Die-Cast & Scale Model Car Collectible Auction, Volume 1 is another unique gathering of dealership promo models, NASCAR models, and some very cool vintage pieces such as a 1960s Chitty-Chitty Bang Bang die cast from Corgi, a fairly large 1:12th scale Cadillac V-16 roaster by Danbury Mint, and a very cool Matchbox “Veteran and Vintage” set of five 1:39th scale cars, all in the original box. The third that caught out eyes was the Bill & Barb Farwig Transportation Collection , a very unique amassment of farm and commercial vehicles ranging in various scales, and a rare, hand carved Huey helicopter.
