From Ferrari signage to Ferrari-branded furniture, this selection of authentic items from one of the world’s most respected Prancing Horse collections also includes some surprises, like Harley-Davidson bicycles and gas-powered go-karts. We’re smitten with Lot Q221, “The Official Ferrari Opus.” Published by Taschen in 2011, this book is a legend in the Ferrari community and a must have for any Ferrari enthusiast. Signed by Luca di Montezemolo, former chairman of Ferrari, the book covers a lovely swath of history including a look at life with Enzo. Complete with white cotton gloves to keep skin oils off the pages, this is a fabulous opportunity to acquire a wonderful bit of Ferrari memorabilia.
Another great piece is Lot Q286, a single-sided plastic lighted Ferrari sign would make a great addition to any collection, or a great way to start collecting. Anything Ferrari is normally a safe investment, but when it comes to signs like this, it’s really hard to go wrong. Measuring 31×45, it’s a great size, and the sign looks to be in wonderful overall condition.
There’s nothing like a good hi-top table and chair set up, and this one Lot Q292 is branded Ferrari all ’round. Created by the great artist, David Chapple, the stools feature quilted leather seats with likely wood and substrate seat backs. The stools are adjustable and spin on chrome bases, while the glass table top protects an almost Q-Bert looking Ferrari prancing stallion on yellow and red cubes.
