Every year, Mecum hosts what they call the Daytime Auction, an event held Thursday, August 15 through Saturday, August 17 beginning at 8am. An absolute frenzy of an event, Mecum offers connoisseurs a variety of cars ranging from muscle cars to classics to vintage to new classics to exotics. Coming on offer at Monterey, for example, is a collection of Panteras – five, to be exact, a luxurious Lusso, a GTS, and three ultrarare GT5-S. For fans of the midengined design, the 1969 Lamborghini Miura P400 S is a great alternative.
