New President for the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance

After serving the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance for 40 years, Concours Chairman Sandra Button will downshift a bit and become the Brand Ambassador and Strategic Advisor.  With that transition, Vince W. Finaldi has been selected as the Concours President.  Finaldi has a lengthy relationship with all-things-automobiles, beginning as a child.  His grandfather moved to the US from Italy and worked for General Motors in the 1920s, returning to Italy to open his own auto shop where his sons, Finaldi’s father among them, worked.  Finaldi, a trial attorney, also owns his own shop, Finaldi, Inc., in Del Rey Oaks, California.  A full-service collector car restoration, preservation, repair, service, sales, and concierge facility, the company specializes in European cars.  A collector himself, Finaldi not only collects the cars, but the parts, books, and automobilia affiliated with the lifestyle.  Stay tuned as we learn more about Finaldi and changes at the Concours.  And yes, we’re planning on talking to him about his shop.
