Back in the olden days, I used to look for cars for sale every Thursday in two publications: Auto Trader and the Recycler. All local listings, maybe spanning a 50 mile radius, I thought it was the world. Today, things are way, way different. Everything is online. And very popularly, live auctions are the in thing. Today, CarCorralAuction.com brings a new look and business model to the practice. Launched and run by a family of truly good car guys, you can read about them on the site, they’ve been working hard at making a unique space for other car guys. Check it out here!!! Maybe place a bid, or consign a car!
This 1973 Ford Bronco 4×4 is finished in red with a white removable top, a white stripe on the hood and black bumpers. Rolling on Cooper Evolution M/T offroad tires and aluminum wheels, it presents in very stock, original condition.
Powered by a 5.0L/302 CI V-8 engine with a column-shifted 3-speed manual transmission and a new Positraction rear end with 4.10 gears, the consignor believes the Bronco is a matching-numbers vehicle. The 5.0L engine has two sets of headers, but is currently running on the factory exhaust system.
“I had the opportunity to make a quick trip to see this Bronco. While it is not 100% complete, it is a rust free example of this iconic 4×4. The restoration is being done right, even if it’s been years in the process.
When I arrived at the owner’s house, the Bronco was sitting in a non-heated outbuilding, and I was impressed that it fired right up in 32-degree weather. This Bronco is almost complete and just needs a little more assembly to be a great piece. This is a running and driving Bronco that will for sure make the new owner proud.
If you’re interested in this Bronco, the listing goes live today, Feb. 13. Only a 1.5% buyer’s premium, we offer the lowest percentage compared to other auction platforms.”

This SRT-10 is finished in red and is of the Quad Cab design. As if the 8.3L V-10 didn’t offer enough performance, the consignor installed a Paxton supercharger complete with a high-performance fuel system and updated ECU tuning to ensure optimal performance from already screamin’ machine. A 4-speed automatic transmission shuffles power to the rear wheels.
The black interior features leather upholstery with grey microsuede inserts, power front seats, power windows, power locks, and more to create a remarkably modern and comfortable environment. Rolling on 22-inch polished alloy wheels with low-profile performance tires, the bed is fitted with a fiberglass tonneau cover with a remote entry system.
