Opportunity Knocking

If you live in, or have visited the town of Burbank in Los Angeles County, California, it’s likely you’ve run across Autobooks Aerobooks.  An absolute legend in the SoCal car culture, the bookstore began in 1951 in Highland Park and moved to Burbank sometime later. An absolute destination for car guys and airplane fanatics, it was in the right place for sure with various car makers and airplane manufacturers building their products in the area, and an absolute ocean of transportation fanatics living in the area.

For nearly 20 years, Tina Van Curen and Chuck Forward have been running the bookstore with great success – with Saturday morning cruise ins, book signings, and other great social aspects, Autobooks Aerobooks is always a fun place to go, a kind of watering hole for transportation nuts.  It’s been a great run for Tina and Chuck, but they feel it’s time to write a new chapter in their lives and pass the baton over to new caretakers.  As such, the bookstore is for sale!  For more information, contact Tina or Chuck on 818-845-0707 or through email via the website, www.Autobooks-Aerobooks.com – meanwhile too check out this article we wrote in issue number two, way back in 2008 covering a bit about Autobooks Aerobooks.
