The Ripple Effect

The Ripple Effect

Sean Mathis is a rare individual indeed.  When he inherited his grandfather’s 1959 Cadillac Coupe deVille, it quickly became his pride and joy.  Moving to Georgia and having a few cars in tow inspired him to create the Miles Through Time Automobile Museum adjacent an antique mall.  It was a genius move – people could cruise the mall and go antiquing while stepping over to the museum and enjoying some other links to a bygone era.

As the museum achieved its non-profit status, people became more interested in what Sean and his wife, Torrie, were up to and stepped up to help.  Shelves and scenes were constructed, signs were made, displays put together and cars were loaned for display or donated to the museum outright.  As time went on, the museum grew several fold and required more square footage, which they were able to get, growing the museum more.  And more again.

Take a look at some of the images above and be sure to visit the Miles Through Time Automotive Museum Georgia’s Co-Op Auto Museum website for more information.
