Presented in excellent condition, this single-sided porcelain die-cut sign shows nearly perfect color and gloss with the slightest wear in the field. Promoting, “General Motors Product Pontiac,” this sign is hugely rare. Measures 31.25" H x 21.5" W with a condition of 9
Lot 86 - Double-Sided Porcelain Dodge "Job-Rated" Trucks Sign
Showing excellent color and gloss, one side has chips in the field and areas of discoloration in the outer fields. The perimeter has chips at the mounting holes and edges, and one mounting hole has been added at the top. The other side has a larger chip in the lower field, and the display is glossier than the rest of the field. Marked, “Walker & Co., Detroit,” this is a solid example overall with strong eye appeal. Measures 42" H x 42" W with a condition of 8.5/8.25
Lot 468 - Red Indian Gas Pump Globe
An original red ripple body hosts two 13.5" lenses, all in excellent color. Lens one has small scratches and scuffs in the field and perimeter. The second lens has heavy paper marks throughout. The red ripple body is in excellent condition with small chips on the inner edge of the base. Overall, a superb and complete Red Indian globe. Measuring 16.5" diameter, it is rated as condition: 8.75/7.5
Lot 474 - Double-Sided Porcelain Susnet Rainbow Motor Oil Gasoline Sign
Mounted in a new metal ring in excellent condition, this Sunset sign has spectacular color and gloss. The sign features graphics of an automobile and an airplane with a colorful sunset graphic in the center field. Side one has light wear with discoloration and minor crazing in the field. The perimeter has chips at the mounting holes and outer edges. The reverse has additional wear with larger chips, additional crazing, and discoloration. A highly prized west coast sign with amazing graphics. Measuring 30" in diameter, it is rated as condition 8.25+/6.9
Lot 487 - Double-Sided Porcelain Sinclair Aircraft Sign
This sign is complete with the ring and has excellent color and gloss. One side shows a few tiny chips with a 6" area of restoration in the center. The perimeter has small chips at the mounting holes and edges. The other side has areas of discoloration and cloudiness in the outer lettering. Overall, an iconic Sinclair sign with strong eye appeal. Measuring 48" in diameter, it’s rated as condition 8
Lot 615 - Double-Sided Porcelain Neon Ford Oval Sign
A factory neon sign with the original metal can and excellent color and gloss, the sign features vibrant red neon lettering with a light blue surround. The field is exceptionally clean with areas of discoloration to the white porcelain enamel. The perimeter has tiny chips at the mounting holes and outer edges. The other side is very similar to the display with a factory blemish in the left field, a handful of tiny chips, and slight cloudiness in the upper right outer field. The metal can has been repainted and is in very good condition. Marked, “Sales Equipment Co. Detroit, Mich.” Measures 24" H x 48" W x 15" D and is rate in condition: 8.75/8.5
Lot 492 - Double-Sided Porcelain Pan-Am Motor Oils "Stand Up Under Fire" Sign
Complete with the metal ring, which is in excellent condition, this sign exhibits very good color and gloss. Side one has small chips in the field with light surface wear and small areas of discoloration. The perimeter has edge wear with small chips. Side two shows less gloss, fading, and has larger chips in the field. Marked, “ADV. 216 D.S. Reliance Adv.” the sign is an exceptional piece overall with amazing graphics. Measures 30" in diameter with a condition of 8.5/7.9
