Nobody likes fogged out headlights. They look awful and really distort headlight performance. Normally though, clearing the haze has been quite the affair, involving perhaps a drill and a bunch of sanding pads and polishes and sealers and so on. Kind of takes away from the enjoyment of cleaning a vehicle.
Recently, Publisher Don was tasked with the chore of reviving the headlight lenses upon the family Honda Accord. “Tasked” was the right word – he wasn’t looking forward to spending who knows how long grinding and sanding and polishing and switching this for that with the drill and so on. While cruising the auto parts store, he stumbled on the Griot’s Garage Car Headlight Restoration Kit and decided to give it a try. No drills or power tools needed; the kit literally provided everything except the microfibers and the tape. Within just a short time, one headlight was cleared up and gleaming in almost new condition. The second headlight was even easier to finish and Don found himself looking forward to clearing up other headlight lenses that might need saving.
