When Richmond Auctions began promoting this particular Musgo sign, they knew all too well they had something very special. But they had little idea it would take over a million bucks to trade hands.
Found in an attic in a Michigan home, this Musgo sign has never seen the light of day. The number and intensity of the blemishes are near zero and Richmond says this sign is likely the best on earth, certainly the best they’d ever seen. For such stunning quality, the rare sign commanded a cool $1,350,000.
At Barrett-Jackson, a neon Ford sign sold for $400,000 and in 2016 another sign was sold for over $200,000, making this Richmond Auction sale an astonishing record smasher. Learn more about it here.
