RM Sotheby’s at ModaMiami
February 29 - March 3
As the New Year unfolds, RM Sotheby’s will be engaging motoring fanatics with some exquisitely rare vehicles not only in their various in-person sales, but also through their Sotheby’s Sealed opportunities. Few places are as nice to be as southeast Florida during March – the weather is normally spectacular and the scenery is unparalleled. One event taking place in Coral Gables, Florida is ModaMiami a lifestyle event flanked by over 100 of the finest motor vehicles in the world, a cruise through Coral Gables and Coconut Grove, a stop at the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, and other amazing activities creating a remarkable overall experience. Held at the Biltmore Hotel, RM Sotheby’s will also be on hand with an array of fabulous vehicles for sale ranging from Duesenberg and Packard to Aston Martin and Ferrari with Lagonda, Spyker, Rolls-Royce, and Mercedes-Benz sprinkled in among others for a truly jaw-dropping sale. One of our favorite pieces is the functional Ferrari engine dynamometer fitted with a 4.0L V-12 from a 330 GT 2+2. RM Sotheby’s says it’s fully functional and was obtained directly from Ferrari in Maranello where it was in use for several years on Ferrari’s earliest models by Belgian dealer Jacques Swatters’s Garage Francorchamps in 1953.
