The push is full-steam ahead at Garage Style Magazine to go all digital. While some are lamenting the loss of print (I am too, there was something great about having a printed, glossy book) I look at it this way – GSM is still here because of the digital opportunity. For that, I’m thankful. Besides, we’re aiming to produce an annual Yearbook which will compile all the newsletters and digital magazines into a beautiful, printed book. A big part of the “going digital” revolution has to do with beefing up www.garagestylemagazine.com a lot, and if you’ve been visiting the site, you have likely noticed some sweet changes. It’s been an exciting evolution and I’m thrilled to be working with Eric Monterastelli from Gran Touring Motorsports (GTM) fame who’s led the charge in pushing for the new website and building this little ole magazine up to become a force to be reckoned with.
You’ll notice a little more of GTM spilling over into the GSM backyard, but it’s mutual as some of GSM’s content will be filling the channels over at GTM too. Racing fans will be thrilled to find out that Eric and the GTM crew will be bringing a bit more racing interest to the GSM platform as GSM brings more of the collectors and concours circuit to GTM. As GSM edges more closely to the digital realm, the newest column to join the mix is The Racer’s Den by our own Eric Monterastelli and Gran Touring Motorsports. A series of articles devoted to embracing the working garages out there, look for his articles each month – check this one out.
