New Columns and Interesting Opportunities

Garage Style Magazine has been blessed from day one to have the support of some stunningly accomplished and utterly amazing columnists.  Excitingly, those columnists that gave the printed magazine such spectacular stories will be returning to this digital edition.  Adding to the mix, Tony Singer of Vintage Auto Posters Vintage Auto Posters | Finest Selection of Vintage Car Posters has decided to join us and will be producing a column that will normally deal with collecting vintage car posters and related ephemera.  A growing segment in the hobby, the collecting of paper products, like posters and point-of-sale items, has been on the rise with a number of people beginning to invest in them.  What’s so astonishing about them, aside from the stunning graphics, colors, and overall look, is the fact that these works of art were made simply to be used for a brief period and discarded.  They weren’t initially thought of being anything people would want to collect and covet, and because of that, very few original pieces survive.  But the market is growing, and pieces are going up in value.  Hopefully Tony will give us some words of wisdom, some advice on what to look for and why we should consider these pieces.  In addition to that, we look forward to bringing you ideas and stories from Paul Oliver, who hails from Down Under.  Stay tuned!

If that’s not enough, Mecum Auctions is hosting some very cool items at their On Time site and, of course, through the upcoming live sale.  Specifically, die cast items and some terrific neons are coming available, any of which will make terrific additions to a collection or help kickstart one.

And, going back in time just a bit, we’ve brought around a feature from the printed magazine, issue number 31 to be exact, a stunningly special garage in California dedicated to all-things hot rod and custom.  Nicely, thanks to the digital realm, you can see pictures that didn’t make it into the magazine.

So, with all that said – please enjoy this latest issue!
