New Ventures

It’s always exciting to see new ventures getting underway, and that’s exactly what Steve Contarino is up to with his new Automobilia Vintage.  Like most of us, Steve is a lifelong car and automobilia enthusiast with a serious penchant for finding the coolest, rarest, most obscure pieces.  I can only imagine, this is why he launched Automobilia Vintage, not only to market what he’s got in stock, but to meet other likeminded people in the community.  Learn more about him and his new automobilia company below.

Meanwhile too, I’m noticing more and more interest in the paper side of things, which I’m really excited about.  Holding a major poster collection myself, I’ve spoken about how as a kid, I would rotate my posters a few times a year to change things up and keep friends guessing, and nothing has changed.  Even auction companies are noticing the trend, with many hosting dedicated poster and paper sales with nothing but point of sale products, posters, calendars, and other odds-and-ends for sale.  Our man, Tony Singer of Vintage Auto Posters, wrote a few editions ago about collecting Pre-War posters and is returning in this issue to talk about collecting Post-War posters.
