It’d been a long time since we’d done anything like it. Back in the day, when Garage Style Magazine was in print and humming along, events, car shows, companies, and charities came to us to produce their programs, brochures, magazines, point-of-sale products, posters, and more. All part and parcel to the business, we were happy to help, and why not? We had the connections with printers and designers, paper suppliers and shippers. For us, it was simple – just tell us what you need. We designed it and put it all together. When we suspended print and began our move from California to Texas, that side of the business dried up a bit. And then, just recently, an old friend/subscriber text me and asked me to make him a custom magazine just for him, using a full Garage Style layout. He tells me that someday, he won’t be able to get in and out of his Lamborghini and will have to relinquish it to a new caretaker, so he wants a little something that will showcase his garage, like Garage Style usually does, but also highlight his favorite car in the world, the Countach. In other words, this magazine would allow him to look back and relive through the pictures and paper, his garage and the car he loves so dearly. Very cool idea. As I write this, we’re entering the tail end of production on that very special magazine, and it’s been fun getting back into print. And, in doing so, it made me think I need to get the word out there that we can help you with your publishing needs too – programs, magazines, brochures, and so on, just give me a shout and let’s see what we can do. I’ll post more about the Countach magazine as I’m able, so stay tuned.
Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy this newsletter, which visits a fabulous collection in California, checks out the latest at Mecum Auctions, and invites you to participate in a great charity car show in Danville, California.
Thanks for stopping by!
