Letter from the Editor: A Moment of Thanks

Thank you to all of you who stood by Garage Style Magazine and the team who brings it together.

Your notes of encouragement and enthusiasm have been absolute platinum during a tumultuous time, not just professionally, but personally.  The letters showing me garages you’ve built and changes you’ve made, many inspired by articles in GSM, have been huge for me.  Interestingly, the last one was from a new videographer we’re likely working with who runs GarageRiot.com.  After reading a few copies of the magazine, he text and told me about a piece of land he’d bought specifically to build a garage upon, and that the articles within the magazines really helped him see some of what he was thinking.  That’s what it’s all about and many of you have indicated exactly the same.  I’m very glad we were able to be part of your creations and love seeing them.

This thanks also goes to the advertisers who’ve stuck by as well.  Zymol has really ramped up offering discounts and special newsletters promoting to Garage Stylers along with Toys Trains and Other Old Stuff and Mecum Auctions to name but a few.  I hope you’ve been supporting them as well.

So, while we don’t have the printed edition as we once knew it, and are embarking on the new digital journey with the hope of a printed annual yearbook, I hope you’ll embrace the new GSM as much as I am to see it through.  In time, I’m looking forward to bringing you spectacular imagery and stories and even video which will bring the garages and their owners to life.
