Automobilia, Petroliana, and Soda Advertising Sale

Online bidding is currently underway for Morphy Auctions’ Summer Advertising sale.  The event concludes with a live event taking place at 9am on July 15 and 16 at their facilities in Denver, Pennsylvania. Day one consists of a variety of gas, oil, and motor vehicle related items, including some vintage motorcycles.  Day two is all about food and beverage memorabilia with a dominance in the beer and soda realms.  Very cool stuff.

With some exceptionally electrifying pieces on offer, a remarkably exciting piece is the hyper-rare and super-desirable “Harbor Petroleum Products” sign with the seaplane in the oval at the top.  A Single-Sided Porcelain sign from the 1940s, this sign is absolutely legendary among collectors, but a big part of what makes this sign so exciting is its condition.  Said to be exceptionally clean with an AGS Grade of 90, “Harbor Petroleum Products” signs are available only rarely, especially as clean as this one.  See if here.
