It’s a stunning thing Richmond Auctions is able to do – if you’ve seen this newsletter for a while, you’re keen on some of the gobsmacking memorabilia they bring to market. Their upcoming sale starting September 18 is host to an enormous number of unreal offerings, a few of which are highlighted below. While I’d love to pick one or two that I’m in love with, it’s just not possible – there are simply too many great items to choose from, and I really encourage you to take a look at their offerings and see what your collection needs. That said – I know a few of you are just beginning to collect, and I’ll tell ya, Richmond is a great place to begin, if you’re seeking to surround yourself with investment-grade, original pieces. I guess if I had to pick three, I’d go with Day 2, lots 871, 872, and 873 – not being lazy, these three just happen to be neighbors and upon seeing them, the hair on the back of my neck went up. Register to bid and enjoy, it’s going to be a great sale with a number of once-in-a-lifetime opportunities.
