Camisasca – Willy Wonka’s for Car Fanatics

Camisasca – Willy Wonka’s for Car Fanatics

If you’ve ever visited a specialty car dealership, you might notice they have beautiful license plate frames.  Especially new car dealerships handling the exotics like Lamborghini and Bentley, McLaren and Bugatti.  It’s largely due to the Camisasca family.

Interestingly, back in the early 1980s, when Henry Camisasca was visiting some of these dealerships to dream and enjoy, he noticed the plate frames were basically low end plastic.  He felt they should have better and created Camisasca Automotive Manufacturing to create high-quality, stainless steel license plate frames that better matched the personality of the cars being sold by the dealerships.  Since then, the company has become a force to be reckoned with in the industry, with contracts for hundreds of dealerships and various manufacturers to create their specialty plate frames.  Through the years, the company expanded and offered various items like valve stem caps and custom coasters and much more to the public and through various retailers.  Nicely too, the Camisasca family are automotive enthusiasts to the core, with a sweet collection of cars smack in their factory in Orange County, California.  Here’s a look at the collection – we’ll look at their factory later on, and what a treat that is!  Like going to Willy Wonka’s!

Racing fanatics to the core, the Camisasca family has lined their collection with cars of a performance nature, and they are not afraid to drive them or compete with them. The Ferrari has been competed with and shown at Concours events, the Jaguar and Shelby are in the same boat.

The collection is parked in a sliver of the Camisasca factory where the company produces some of the finest license plate frames and accessories any car enthusiast has ever seen.

It’s obvious just glancing at the Camisasca collection that racing is more than just a catchword in the family, it’s a way of life. Not only does the family show the vehicles they own, but they’ve been known to race them too.

The focus is on the cars at the Camisasca collection, with spot lights highlighting the cars, clean walls and floors, and uniformly framed art stringing the wall.
