Variety is the Spice of Life
Coming up February 22-24, GAA Classic Car Auctions will be bringing a lovely array of special interest cars to the market ranging from modern classics to early 1950s Chryslers to Corvettes to a Porsche 944 with a mere 44 miles. There’s also a 1978 Porsche 924 drag car for those who adore the absolutely unexpected.
GAA hosts its sales in its own facility known as The Automotive Palace in Greensboro, North Carolina. Fully enclosed and climate controlled, it can house around 700 vehicles and offers VIP treatments with SkyBox Seating with plush seats and amenities like a private bar, private dining, and a bidding assistant. But, for those opting to be up close and personal with the cars and bidding action, The Palace offers tremendous seating options and a number of dining options. In a world of traveling auctions, it’s a unique twist. LEARN MORE.

RM Sotheby’s at ModaMiami
Rounding out the end of 2023, RM Sotheby’s showcased their New York sale to great success. A fun venue, it always proves a fun way to spend an evening.
But, as the New Year unfolds, RM Sotheby’s will be engaging motoring fanatics with some exquisitely rare vehicles not only in their various in-person sales, but also through their Sotheby’s Sealed opportunities. Few places are as nice to be as southeast Florida during March – the weather is normally spectacular and the scenery is unparalleled. One event taking place in Coral Gables, Florida is ModaMiami a lifestyle event flanked by over 100 of the finest motor vehicles in the world, a cruise through Coral Gables and Coconut Grove, a stop at the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, and other amazing activities creating a remarkable overall experience. Held at the Biltmore Hotel, RM Sotheby’s will also be on hand with an array of fabulous vehicles for sale ranging from Duesenberg and Packard to Aston Martin and Ferrari with Lagonda, Spyker, Rolls-Royce, and Mercedes-Benz sprinkled in among others for a truly jaw-dropping sale. One of our favorite pieces is the functional Ferrari engine dynamometer fitted with a 4.0L V-12 from a 330 GT 2+2. RM Sotheby’s says it’s fully functional and was obtained directly from Ferrari in Maranello where it was in use for several years on Ferrari’s earliest models by Belgian dealer Jacques Swatters’s Garage Francorchamps in 1953. GoodGuys Spring Nationals
Presented by Grundy Insurance, the 14th FiTech Fuel Injection Spring Nationals will be held at WestWorld of Scottsdale in Arizona March 15-17. An absolute circus car fanatics, the event celebrates all-things American made or American powered, expect to see a lot of customs and hot rods, and a swap meet that dazzles the eyes. One doesn’t need to be a rod or custom fanatic to enjoy the GoodGuys event – just a car enthusiast. While it’s not yet on their website, there is a section for Road Tours & Parties, which leads us to believe there will be a lot more going on outside WestWorld to engage with. LEARN MORE.
