VintagePosters.com

For a remarkably special gift, check out www.vintageautoposters.com where you will find countless original items ranging from motoring posters to factory pins to countertop point of sale products. Since 1980, proprietor Tony Singer has travelled the world in search of these spectacular, original pieces to enhance any collection. How about an original Nardi lapel pin or even a Nardi Corvette ashtray or maybe a display poster illustrating the Ferrari 166 Barchetta, Coupe, and Berlinetta. Cruising the website is spectacularly painful – it’s overly tempting to max out the credit card, and likely well worth it. Check it out here, be careful, and enjoy.

One of our favorite pieces at GarageArt.com is this Oilzum Neon Sign. The company only makes a few batches a year of this particular sign, so while it’s a new, reproduction, it does have an air of exclusivity to it. Neon colors of orange, white, and green pop against the artwork and make a fantastic addition to any collection. See more here.

Ernst Benz has partnered with Concorso Ferrari and Friends to create the Ernst Benz Concorso Ferrari Bespoke Program to benefit the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Foundation. The program allows car enthusiasts the opportunity to work directly with the design team at Ernst Benz to create their very own timepieces, uniquely designed by themselves. Imagine being able to create a high-quality wristwatch of your own design – colors, stitching, materials, etc. And, no – it doesn’t have to be Ferrari-specific. Create anything you want, and 50% of the proceeds from each watch purchased through the special program go to Connecticut Children’s. Win-Win. To learn more or get started making your very own, one-of-a-kind Ernst Benz watch, click here or email here.

While BKG is well known for a variety of fun, useful, stylish pieces for the home, garage, office, and den, one of our favorite collections is their pocketknives. Styled like vintage gas pumps, hot rods, and hand tools, they are not only eye catching and display worthy, but they work very well. During his move from California to Texas, publisher Don used his to slice open the tape holding innumerable boxes closed, and they never missed a beat, cut through the tape like a pro. See them here.

Offering 50% off anything at Zymol.com, how can you lose? With the cooler weather coming up fast, there will be plenty of time to enjoy with your vehicles – as Zymol used to say, “Take a 4-hour vacation.” So true – fire up the music, set up a place to relax at break time with some refreshments, maybe call over a friend or two, or enjoy some solitude within the garage. The aromas of Zymol’s all-natural ingredients truly help create a spa-like experience, and the results are normally spectacularly rewarding.

While it’s easy to get carried away with all of Zymol’s products, Publisher Don’s favorites are HD Cleanse and the original Creame wax. No matter what though, he says always begin a Zymol session with HD Cleanse to prep the surface for the wax, regardless of the wax you choose. And, if you’re looking for something a little more personal, check out their waxID – literally bespoke wax for your car. Answer a few questions and Zymol will do the rest – custom made wax just for your car. For the Holidays, Zymol has discounted the price of waxID exclusively on Amazon.com. Just remember the HD Cleanse to begin.

CarArt.us

Speaking of bespoke, how about immortalizing your car in an original, commissioned art piece by the renowned artist of your choice? Peter Aylett at www.CarArt.us can make it happen. In fact, more than a couple of our subscribers have taken advantage of this service with spectacular results. See more here

Yes, it’s in print! We were all supremely impressed with Crankshaft Magazine when we found it at the Hershey Swap Meet in Pennsylvania this past year. Launched by the former editor-in-chief of Hemmings, Richard Lentinello, Crankshaft is printed on exceptionally high-quality, artisan paper and features clean, legible text among spectacularly clear images, all intelligibly laid out for an easy, entertaining read. At 144 pages, it’s more like a softbound book than a magazine. Learn more at the link below, maybe order a few subscriptions for yourself and enthusiasts you know.

A lot of people have wondered about Mecum On Time, and the bottom line is that it’s a great place to sell larger collections of various pieces – for example, diecast cars, memorabilia, posters and so on. Learn more about it here.
