Following the recent success of Jim’s Forever Collection, comprising 2,700 lots across 18 online auctions, Mecum On Time isn’t letting up off the gas. Up next for the timed online auction platform is a trio of auctions with a focus on the high-speed thrills of sports car racing. The first celebrates the storied Formula One Grand Prix racing series, immortalized here in posters and promotional prints, including a 1937 Monaco Grand Prix Race Poster1963 Grand Prix of The United States at Watkins Glen Race Poster and a 1977 South African Grand Prix Race Poster. The second collection focuses on the Endurance Races of Le Mans, Sebring & More, with the large selection of vintage, original promotional prints representing a variety of popular endurance races around the globe. The endurance racing-focused collection features a 1966 24 Heures Du Mans Race Poster and a 1978 The Twelve Hours of Sebring Race Poster, to name just a couple. Rounding out the trio, the World Racing collection of various prints and posters again celebrates racing heritage around the world, with the various items within featuring a 1966 RAC British Grand Prix Formula 1, Brands Hatch Race Poster and a 1965 ADAC 500 KM Rennen, Nurburgring Race Poster, for example.

On the live auction front, Mecum’s Road Art division’s next outing is the Gone Farmin’ Spring Classic this March 24-25, with various items like a Massey-Harris Single-Sided Smalt Sign, a 1950s John Deere Double-Sided Porcelain Neon Dealership Sign and a selection of implements from The Gilliam Farms Collection. Following that, Road Art is headed back to State Farm Stadium for Mecum Glendale 2023.
